Glitter lips & nails, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Holiday Customs

Let's see what our favourite skating duo have been up to....

Jayne and Chris put their experience to good this week as they mentored the GB Rhythmic Gymnastics team as part of their roles as Team GB Olympic Ambassadors.  For someone whose first time it was seeing the sport live it was surprising to see how Chris got into it.  Here is a link to the article with video footage of Jayne and Chris watching the girls train. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/gymnastics/16042941.stm

We wish the girls good luck as they train to qualify to get a host nation spot in the London Olympics next year. 

The other major thing that happened this week was filming for the Dancing on Ice 2012 promo! Very cold!! Interesting reading tweets from the pros. From them I can guess, Matt Evers, Daniel Whiston, Brianne Delcourt, Maria Filippov, Frankie and Jodeyne Higgins are most likely involved in the new series.

Jayne and Chris sent us a lovely picture of them at the shoot. Jayne sporting some beautiful glitter lips which made things hard to eat.

She also had some sparkly nails for the shoot. She got lots of comments in Harrods after a visit there this week.  Heaps of people seemed to love them.

This week I started a discussion about how TnDWorldFans celebrate the holidays with the hashtags #tndfansholidaycustoms and #TNDFansChristmasCustoms. It was great learning about how you all celebrate this time of year around the world. 

Also some bad news for Aussie fans.  It looks like we aren't getting the new series of Dancing on Ice as the show not been cleared for internation transmission. I don't know if it can be change or what it means for other countries that have been getting the show in the past :(

DOI Craziness begins!

Hey there #TnDWorldFans!

Well its that time of year again!! DOI craziness has began.

Tour tickets came out in the last few days. Hope you were able to get the tickets you wanted! Loving hearing the excitement of you #TnDWorldFans as you talk about the tour. Sounds like its going to be an amazing tour! I even hear that Jayne and Chris are presenting the tour! Don't fear Jayne and Chris will still skating their routines like always! Chris is officially back in the UK this week as the lead up to DOI begins... Him and Jayne have been very busy doing radio and TV interview to promote the DVD and the tour.  Really must they did a lot interviews on radio in one day! Going for a record guys? lol.

This week Jayne helped open the rink at Somerset House! Looking amazing as always out there on the ice!

Looks so magical! Speaking of Somerset House Ice rink. Jayne and Chris were there today doing something for Text Santa! Text Santa is a new show from ITV to help raise money for people in need this Christmas season! http://www.itv.com/textsanta/ The link will explain it to you more!

This week we also go little hello from Jess, Jayne's 5 year old girl. She was playing with her mummy's phone  and sent this  picture. Not that we knew it was her when it was tweeted.  Jayne ended up realising what happened a bit later after wondering what us fans were talking about and I don't think Jess will be playing with Mummy's phone again!

So lots of hard work and fun times ahead for our favourite skating pair!

Chris is back...Well almost!! NTA voting and J on Question of Sport

Hello #TnDWorldFans,
Exciting stuff is brewing like cup of Jayne's favourite tea or a mug of Chris's *$ (I know, couldn't help myself! :P) in the world of Torvill and Dean.

Chris is coming back to the UK most likely as we speak from what Jayne's tweet's have been saying.  Her tweet no long ago said "Hope everyone has a good weekend and enjoys the hot weather! Chris arrives tomorrow! Yeah! Jx"  and Chris has been quite in twitter world as he busy with his boys. "Ok I'm not MIA just been occupied with the boys. I'll be back in the UK soon. DOI about to set up shop again. Hope u r all well. C"


So it's getting that time again, filming is starting soon, Chris soon back... it's about to be training time soon! I wonder who going to be on Dancing on Ice and what surprises that show has up its sleeve.

Must say voting for the National Television Awards are now open and Dancing on Ice is nominated again for Best Talent Show! So lets get behind it and VOTE!! International #TnDWorldFans can still vote btw.

Filming, 21 years of Marriage and very quite....

Hello TnDWorldFans!

Our favourite pair have gone quite again, I just keep taking that is a lot going to be happening soon! And by the tweet Jayne just tweeted filming starts soon! Eeek! Exciting stuff.  

Jayne celebrated her 21st wedding anniversary this Wednesday just gone with her husband Phil! We hope that they had a wonderful day. Wish them many more years ahead together. 

Chris, we haven't heard from at all this week. I wonder when he flies back to  UK? Must be soon!!
