DOI Craziness begins!

Hey there #TnDWorldFans!

Well its that time of year again!! DOI craziness has began.

Tour tickets came out in the last few days. Hope you were able to get the tickets you wanted! Loving hearing the excitement of you #TnDWorldFans as you talk about the tour. Sounds like its going to be an amazing tour! I even hear that Jayne and Chris are presenting the tour! Don't fear Jayne and Chris will still skating their routines like always! Chris is officially back in the UK this week as the lead up to DOI begins... Him and Jayne have been very busy doing radio and TV interview to promote the DVD and the tour.  Really must they did a lot interviews on radio in one day! Going for a record guys? lol.

This week Jayne helped open the rink at Somerset House! Looking amazing as always out there on the ice!

Looks so magical! Speaking of Somerset House Ice rink. Jayne and Chris were there today doing something for Text Santa! Text Santa is a new show from ITV to help raise money for people in need this Christmas season! http://www.itv.com/textsanta/ The link will explain it to you more!

This week we also go little hello from Jess, Jayne's 5 year old girl. She was playing with her mummy's phone  and sent this  picture. Not that we knew it was her when it was tweeted.  Jayne ended up realising what happened a bit later after wondering what us fans were talking about and I don't think Jess will be playing with Mummy's phone again!

So lots of hard work and fun times ahead for our favourite skating pair!

EXTRA POST: Giving support to raising money for cancer research

Extra Post this week... This week I learnt from Karen Barber's daughter Emma about a young guy Nathan who is currently being treated for Leukaemia.  He has set up a twitter page to start a fundraising initiative to help raise money for existing cancer charities.

We as a group are going to put our support behind Nathan and try and help in any way we can! So Go and follow @be_MACHINE! so you can help too.

Shoes!!! Getting right back up and reliving the tour!

This week the tour DVD came out!!! Hope you were all able to get your copy.  I must say a huge thank you to @WAG2002 who has shared  with us screen caps and video from the DVD. Check them out on our facebook group page.

So our two favourite skaters... what have they been doing???

Jayne went shopping in Selfridges on Friday (today) , sadly wasn't able to get to the shoe department. :( Jayne also this week gave blood as well as her usual workouts.

Chris is still in the US at the moment.... He faced any mental blocks and got back onto his bike this week!  Arrived safely back after his ride.  Good on him for doing that!!

DOI news: Holly Willoughby will not be hosting the next season of Dancing on Ice due to other commitments.  She is going to be replaced by Christine Bleakley.  I wish both of the girls the best in their new adventures. Chris on Battle of the Blades, Jayne playing tennis at Wimbledon!

I think was a bit too excited that Chris was on Battle of the Blades this week in Canada! I so grateful to the Battle of the Blades twitter (@CBCbattle) and their Social Media Correspondent Maura Grierson (@MauraGrierson) who helped us out with finding out about Chris being on the show. Give these guys are follow as they so great and with the final of the show this weekend I'm sure there is going to interesting stuff happening!!

Before show 2 Maura Grierson (BOTB's Social Media Correspondent) hanged out with Chris backstage! Here is a great photo that Maura tweeted us! Thanks Maura!!

Elimination time :( 

Chris got to meet up again with a skating pair he choreographed for earlier this year. Piper and Paul! Hope they do well in the future! All the best to them. 

Chris also tweeted us when he was flying home with his Canadian *$.  

Jayne has been a little quite this week but she did share with us an amazing experience she got to have this week.  Playing tennis at Wimbledon!! Who would thought that she was watching tennis there a few months ago and now she got to play there. 

Tour ticket news is that we have the date of the Manchester tickets. They go on sale on the 23rd of November at 9am (Presale) General Public is on the 25th at 9am. Keep watching and look at the Ticket Master website for more details!

Can't believe it's November already!

Hello #TnDWorldFans,
From the title of this post which came from a tweet of Jayne's I must say Can't believe it's November already and from what the part of the tweet November is going to a huge month with lots happening.

So what have our favourite duo been up this week?

Jayne seems to really into her early morning workouts lately. 7 and 7:30am workout this week.  Seems things have gone up since her 500 challenge with Matt Evers because she doing 1000 reps! She threw the challenge to Matt to see how he goes.  Jayne completed the whole thing in 41 mins! I think that's amazing.  Wonder woman!

Jayne got a new car this week and even shared a photo with us. She has been getting some use out of it too and seems to love it.

Chris is still in US this week still recovering from his run off with his bike. Seems that his road rash is getting annoying as he mention he is in the need for some baby mittens so he doesn't pick at the rash. Christmas present idea???

Chris also gave us fans the link to the 2011 DOI tour DVD and it looks spectacular! 

Tour DVD comes out on the 14th of November, so very soon!! Exciting stuff.  No news by the way on the 2012 tour tickets yet. 

As I was writing this Chris popped up on the @TnDWorldFans twitter timeline with the details to a competition run by the Times and the Sun newspaper to get tickets to London 2012. Here is the link he gave to competition: http://team-2012.com/be-there/

Lastly Chris will guest judging this weekend on Canadian skating show Battle of the Blades. Cant wait to see him on it. He was great last year when helped judge the final and this time will be the Semi final. He might get to say Hi to Colin! Colin was the professional skater with Laura Hamilton this year of Dancing on Ice where they came 2nd. Colin is actually working behind the scenes on the show.
