And Christmas Day was actually the first time the new promo was shown! It's amazing! Totally agree with Chris here and say I think its the best one to date! :)

Last Post! Merry Christmas and Happy 2012!

 Dear TnDWorldFans!! 

This is my post for 2011. Next Saturday is New Years Eve so I think I deserve to get one last sneaky sleep in for what I've done this year? 

Let's catch up with our favourite skating pair on last time!! 

Firstly Chris left the UK this week to head home for Christmas with his two boys Jack and Sam. He didn't leave without warning us fans to look out for the new promo for DOI! (Hint from Matt Evers!! First being shown on Boxing Day! 26/12) 

 Since arriving home in the US Chris tweeted some beautiful photos of the Colorado snow and home coming sunset!

For Jayne she sadly had to take off her sparkly nails off but after telling us we received an interesting tweet about hour later. Once again a little while later we found out one of Jayne's children sent the tweet! This time it was her son Kieran who was bored as he had to sit through Mummy getting her nails off!! 

Lastly Jayne went to the BBC Sports Personality awards with Karen.  

Karen was nice enough to tweet a few pics of them!

Both the girls travelling travelled on the train home to their families for Christmas the next day saying how excited the kids would be! Seems the girls had a great night together xx 

So I wish them all a wonderful Christmas and relaxing break as well as it isn't long before the new series starts on the 8th of Jan! 

Yesterday was our first birthday as a group! We have been running for a year now! I never thought I could keep this running that long especially from here in Australia! But I must say thank you to you guys! Great TnDWorldFans! You guys have supported me and passed me information, posted pictures and uploaded videos on to youtube! Without you guys there really wouldn't be this group! SO THANK YOU SO MUCH xxx

Holiday season...TEXT SANTA, Nutcracker and now Christmas break!

Merry Christmas TnDWorldFans!
It is that time year again! The holiday season and what have our favourite pair been up to on their finale week before the Christmas break??

To get in the spirit of Christmas,  Jayne and Chris were put of the opening to ITV's Text Santa first show. They had pre recorded the opening number with Diversity which was amazing and after it was shown they talked Phillip Scofield and Christine Bleakly about it!

Before the show Chris tweeted some pics of him and Jayne in the dressing room....

Then this one was nicely tweeted to us after we asked. Aren't they so nice to us fans! Looking amazing! 

While backstage Jayne got kisses from the boys from The Wanted. Nice Jayne :) Lucky girl x

Chris later on in the week tested his new icon app and the pair went to see Mathew Bourne's Nutcracker with Karen Barber :) Very Christmassy! Quite a few fans saw them there as photos popped up on twitter... Not if it was right adding them here so I have it but by looks of tweets from Karen and Jayne the next day they had a great night xx.

So now DOI is on break for Christmas I hope they have a great one x

By the way this Friday (23/12/11) coming is our 1st birthday!! Can't believe this has been running for a year!

P.S Trying to sort out Dancing on Ice stuff out for non UK fans at the moment. Not having much luck with ITV :(

Glitter lips & nails, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Holiday Customs

Let's see what our favourite skating duo have been up to....

Jayne and Chris put their experience to good this week as they mentored the GB Rhythmic Gymnastics team as part of their roles as Team GB Olympic Ambassadors.  For someone whose first time it was seeing the sport live it was surprising to see how Chris got into it.  Here is a link to the article with video footage of Jayne and Chris watching the girls train. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/gymnastics/16042941.stm

We wish the girls good luck as they train to qualify to get a host nation spot in the London Olympics next year. 

The other major thing that happened this week was filming for the Dancing on Ice 2012 promo! Very cold!! Interesting reading tweets from the pros. From them I can guess, Matt Evers, Daniel Whiston, Brianne Delcourt, Maria Filippov, Frankie and Jodeyne Higgins are most likely involved in the new series.

Jayne and Chris sent us a lovely picture of them at the shoot. Jayne sporting some beautiful glitter lips which made things hard to eat.

She also had some sparkly nails for the shoot. She got lots of comments in Harrods after a visit there this week.  Heaps of people seemed to love them.  

Karen sent a tweet this week that I think will sum up everything....

This week I started a discussion about how TnDWorldFans celebrate the holidays with the hashtags #tndfansholidaycustoms and #TNDFansChristmasCustoms. It was great learning about how you all celebrate this time of year around the world. 

Also some bad news for Aussie fans.  It looks like we aren't getting the new series of Dancing on Ice as the show not been cleared for internation transmission. I don't know if it can be change or what it means for other countries that have been getting the show in the past :(

Start of choreography.... Means a crazy week!

It's official December! It's one of the busiest times for our favourite skating pair as they prepare the new skating celebrities and pro partners for new series of Dancing on Ice.

This week seems to be first week of choreography.  Think it was bit of a crazy week it seems by the photo we got from Jayne and Chris at the end of it!

Just getting to the end of a full week of choreography do we look a little strange!

Karen mention about choreography too! "Yesterday saw the first routine choreographed for the new series, so exciting, on my way to work for more of the same, I love my job x" (29/11/11) and "3 routines choreographed for the new series and I think its safe to say its going to be great, more after lunch, everyone is very happy x" (1/12/11)


Chris also sent a pic of the practice studio! Exciting seeing it! We getting closer to the start of the season!!

We got to play a game of WITWAI this week since I last posted.  Here is the picture Chris sent...

Turns out the answer was St. Pancras! This was taken as Chris and Jayne travelled up to York to turn on the Christmas lights.

Jayne's appearance on Bedtime Stories on Nick Jr was shown this week! Sadly we pretty much missed it!

So Yes as we now in December lots is happening for Jayne and Chris! Lets just hope I can keep up with them!
